Rue Point Lighthouse sits on the southern tip of Rathlin Island, 2 miles off shore from Fair Head on the north coast of Northern Ireland. Operational since 1921, its painted horizontal bands accentuates its distinctive appearance, warning passing ships of the wave swept rocks below.
