Did you know there are two types of cinnamon?
The first is Cassia, which is used by most large scale businesses as it is cheaper and has a distinct flavour. Ceylon is the second, used less as it is more expensive. However it is has a more natural flavour with strong notes and flavour without the “artificial” flavour often found in store bought jars.
Ceylon cinnamon is also known as True or Pure Cinnamon and when you taste the difference, you can appreciate why. Perfect on top of frothy lattes, sprinkled on top of your pancakes and also home baking.
Each jar contains 30g of ground Ceylon cinnamon.
