WHEN SHE GOT HOME FROM THE MILLS AT THE END OF A HARD WEEK, SHE LOVED NOTHING MORE THAN WRITING POETRY OVER A PINT OF GUINNESS IN THE BACK ROOM OF HER FATHERS PUB, THE SEAHORSE. MILLIE HAD A QUEUE OF WILLING SUITERS LINED UP WANTING TO TAKE HER TO THE LOCAL MONTHLY TEA DANCE, BUT SHE TURNED THEM ALL DOWN AS SHE PREFERRED TO GO ALONE. MILLIE WAS A LONE WOLF.
