The body and cap are made from ancient Irish Bog Oak which combines wonderfully with the rose gold components. The fountain pen comes with a cartridge to get you started right out of the box, but also it comes with a converter to use your own bottled inks. The Rollerball comes with a Schmidt rollerball refill which is smooth and provides a great flow to your writing.
