Eamon Dunphy is an Irish journalist, broadcaster and author. He has been a regular contributor to Irish television for many years, having developed a reputation as one of Ireland’s foremost football journalists. Having played for Ireland on trial in 1964 alongside the likes of Liam Tuohy and John Giles, he later became famous for his journalistic career in sport, featuring regularly as a columnist for The Irish Times. In addition to his work on RTÉ Sport, he occasionally writes for The Irish Daily Star and appears on radio station Newstalk 106.
